Hita is feeling better. After being sick for 3 weeks including an ear
ache, she's finally on the mend. Here she is dreaming about eating.

More snow

Another wet heavy snow today. Poor Scott is out there in the cold
having to dig out our driveway. ...and it's still coming down. Baby Vi
and I are inside snuggling. She naps between coughs. Sure hope she
gets better soon. :(

Gramma and Grampo came to visit and watched Vi while we went to the Inn at City Park Bed and Breakfast. It was difficult to be away from my baby, but i knew she was in good hands. What bliss to sleep all night and sleep in (past 6am)! ...and if that weren't enough, we woke up to the amazing aroma of pancetta and waffles for breakfast. Thank you a million times Aunt Tara!!!

We had another milestone today! Vi took a bath in the big bathtub. She
loved splashing and playing with her rubber ducky. Looks like we have
a water baby.

Our little monkey was getting into everything, so we created a baby
safe play zone. Yes, the playpen is a little bit like a zoo exhibit,
but it gives Vi a place to exercise and play while mommy gets a few
things done around the house.

Leela update

Janie and I went to a farmer's market in Old Town today, feeing
uncomfortably hip amongst all the other parents with their kids in
tow. Janie had gravitated towards a table with a lady selling home
made pasta, and as we were browsing, the lady asked, "Aren't you
Leela's parents?"

We hadn't recognized her all gussied up for market, but it was of
course the nice farmer who had taken Leela in. Leela has aparently
taken to farm life, proving herself to be a competent mouser. She
likes climbing trees, though getting down tends to involve clumsy drops.

The farmer gave us some pasta to thank us for Leela. We wanted to buy
more to thank her for taking Leela.

Winter farmers market

farmer's market. 10am -3pm. We stopped in today and really enjoyed it.

She slep for almost 2 hours today. Hopefully she'll take a good nap
this afternoon too. This comes as a relief after the past few days of
restlessness. She seems to be over her cold now. Hopefully sweet
dreams are in our future.
